i have a question........
in my sister's class there are girl's who are arranging a dance and are planning to perform it on a festival day..
i donot appreciate this idea and wan't to some how discourage them from dancing openly in front of many men.
i don't know how this can be possible??
i wanted you all to suggest ways ,so that i can discourage them..
do you think wht i'm doing is good?????

For women to dance in front of foreign men is not permissible according to Sayyid Seestani at least. So if something i haram then there's really no compromise.

okay,hmmm theyre here....actually i think theyre parents have no problems..
the point is that i myself know some of the girls and a couple of them are really goodfriends of my sister..
as an elder momin brother..to all of them ..i just want u all to give me some ways of telling them tht dancing infornt of soo many people is harram..

Like I said brother, there is no comprimise in issues of halal and haram. If I were you I'd speak to the person closest to me and who has some sort of authority over the others and let him know that is is haram. What they do after that is up to them.
