A woman went to the Prophet (PBUH) & as she "I am at the end of my rope, my son wants to eat honey all the time & I do not have enough money to buy all that honey" & the Prohpet (PBUH) said "Come back tomorrow & I will have an answer" And so the woman came back the next day & the Prophet told her "You should tell him to stop eating so much honey" The woman was angry & asked why it had taken a whole day to come up with such a simple answer! So the Prophet (PBUH) told her "I Love Honey & I eat it all the time, so I couldnt tell the boy to not do something I myself do... So I had to limit myself before I limit others"

Abu Huraireh was once walking in the street and saw a sad merchant sitting on the sidewalk. He said: what's the matter? The merchant said: I've not sold any of my onions today. So he told him not to worry and started shouting:

Oh people, by God I heard the Prophet himself say with these ears of mine that whomsoever eats onions enters paradise. So naturally, people flocked to the merchant and started buying all his goods.

This is one example of the He-Man whom our Sunni brethren narrate from.

Allah almuste'an.

It wasn't about honey rolleyes.gif . It was about dates. wink.gif

QUOTE
A doctor told a mother that dates were bad for her sick young son. The mother tried and tried to stop her son from eating dates but the son loved dates which were poison for him and were making him sick. So he continued to eat them. So she went to the Prophet of God and pleaded with him to order his son to stop eating dates. Mohammad smiled lovingly at the mother and child and said, “Return tomorrow.” The mother returned the next day and Mohammad told the boy, “My son, dates are ‘haram’ (forbidden equivalent to not-kosher in Jewish faith) to you.” The son who loved the Prophet stopped eating dates and became well again. The companions of the Prophet asked him why he had waited a day and Mohammad replied, “I had eaten some dates yesterday and I could not ask this boy to stop doing something I had just done myself.”
