I've just joined this forum and have a question? Is it allowed according to Islamic laws to post things on ebay for sale where people bid for the item you will be selling?

Fiqh questions should be addressed/emailed to the scholar whom you follow. Common sense says that there is nothing wrong with bidding on items on, say, eBay.

What I know about business transactions is that they are valid only, within the context of Islam, only if:

1. The buyer and seller agree on the price.
2. The seller provides the promised goods and the buyer receives the expected goods.

So long as that is the case, there aren't any problems.
